Yulia Toyokawa is Managing Executive Officer, MUFG Bank, Ltd. 

As Head of Global Credit, she is responsible for global exposure ex-Japan across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and The Americas. The credit portfolio spans the activities of MUFG Global Corporate & Investment Banking Business (GCIB), servicing MUFG’s sovereign, corporate, project finance, aviation finance, and financial institution clients.

In her 30+ years tenure in MUFG, Ms. Toyokawa has held positions leading business promotion and credit risk management alternately, covering wide range of areas including project finance, aviation finance, leveraged finance, and securitization.

Ms. Toyokawa also serves as a member of Investment Committee at Mars Growth Capital, a Joint Venture between MUFG Bank and Liquidity Capital, that provides debt solutions to early- stage companies mainly in Asia Pacific. 

Outside of MUFG, Ms. Toyokawa serves as Chair of US-Relations Sub-Committee under U.S. Affairs Committee of Keidanren (Japan Business Federation).

Ms. Toyokawa holds a BA in Liberal Arts from University of Tokyo with majors in International Relations and Russian Studies and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
