Japanese Commerce and Industry Association in Dhaka, Country Representative for Bangladesh, Mitsubishi Corporation

Myung-Ho Lee is the Country Representative for Bangladesh and General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation Dhaka office since April 1st, 2020.

Mitsubishi Corporation is now engaged in major projects including: HSIA terminal 3 expansion project; MRT Line 6, Dhaka-Chittagong-Matarbari 300km transmission line project; FSRU operation of LNG in Matarbari area; and is seeking for further investment opportunities in Bangladesh.

Mr. Lee, born in 1964, has been working for more than 30 years in Mitsubishi Corporation in the area of international trading, G 2 G international infrastructure projects, and investment projects in Latin America, Africa and Asia. 

Before being appointed as Country Representative for Bangladesh and General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation, Mr. Lee was the President of Mitsubishi Colombia, General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation, Quito Branch, Ecuador, and then CAO (Chief Administrative Officer) and General Manager of New business development at Mitsubishi Corporation African Headquarter.

Mr. Lee is currently the President of Japanese Commerce & Industry Association in Dhaka (JCIAD, SHokokai), as well as the director of Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry  (JBCCI).

Mr. Lee Graduated from Keio University, Japan, majored in international political science, and also graduated from the Oregon State University in the United States.
