Dr. Lakmal Fernando is a renewable energy activist, entrepreneur and businessman. His areas of interest include Renewable Energy, Property, and Apparel Accessories. He has been actively lobbying to protect and improve the renewable energy sector in Sri Lanka and he is a strong promoter of Renewable Energy Exportation to improve the country’s economy. 

Dr. Fernando is the co-founder and Managing Director/CEO of Regen Renewables (Pvt) Ltd (one of the largest Solar PV Companies in the country), SRT Energy (Pvt) Ltd (a RE Development Company), Regent Living (Pvt) Ltd (a custom-building housing company), and Titan Packaging (Pvt) Ltd, in Sri Lanka.
