Mr. Ashish Singh serves as Additional Chief Secretary (Transport & Ports) for the Government of Maharashtra. He also serves as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Mr. Singh previously served as Principal Secretary in charge of the administration of the Public Works Department. He also served as CEO and Managing Director of SICOM Ltd., responsible for catalyzing the development of infrastructure and industry in Maharashtra, and as Managing Director of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation. 

Mr. Singh has been recognized with multiple awards for his contributions to tourism in India. He graduated with a degree in Economics and received a Master of Economics from Allahabad University and a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
