The Indo-Pacific Business Forum is the leading United States government event to promote trade, investment and economic cooperation between the United States and its partners in the Indo-Pacific region.

2023 Indo-Pacific Business Forum

The Governments of the United States of America and Japan welcome senior government officials, industry executives and other stakeholders to the 5th Indo-Pacific Business Forum on January 12, 2023.

The event in Tokyo, Japan will be complemented by a robust virtual program for participants in the United States, throughout the Indo-Pacific region and around the world. Virtual features include networking with other attendees, engaging with government and industry stakeholder organizations in the virtual exhibit hall, and accessing plenary sessions with VIP government officials and private sector executives.

Trade with the Indo-Pacific supports more than three million American jobs and is the source of nearly $900 billion in foreign direct investment in the United States. With 60 percent of the world’s population, the Indo-Pacific is projected to be the largest contributor to global growth over the next 30 years.

Public and Private Sector Partners Are Working
Together to Support U.S. – Indo-Pacific Engagement and Cooperation

This premier public-private event is hosted and sponsored by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan and the U.S. Department of State and in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. More than 10 U.S. government agencies are supporting the organization of the event in collaboration with the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and AmCham Japan.
